Vermont’s taxpayers deserve better!
First, Fix the Funding Formula -Vermont’s school funding formula drives property taxes up and leaves rural districts behind. I will work to build a system that is fair to taxpayers and students. Let’s lower reliance on property taxes for working class Vermonters.
Dairy Farms, not Data Centers-Montpelier needs to answer to land owners, not big tech. Protecting our farms, utility rates, and water quality in our beautiful state must come before the interests of out of state Super PACs.
Get it Together Vermont !- Two years of partisan gridlock and vetoes is all that came from focusing on a “balance” of party labels in Montpelier. Let’s work together with what we’ve got to represent all the residents of Windsor 2, not a party.
Why am I running for Vermont State Representative?
I’m running for State Representative because I want to represent the talents, skills, needs, and desires of my community. The value of the community we love comes from the contributions of all those that came before us. Changes in national politics and trends don’t solve the very real problems we’ve always faced here as a rural state and the systems we’ve created to solve them. We all need to recommit to the survival of our representative democracy and not look to political parties to solve things for us. I want for every one of us that seeks a representative office to be driven solely by the needs of those that they represent.
The people of Weathersfield, Cavendish, and Baltimore have life experiences that I do not. Tell me precisely how Montpelier and I can do better by you. This community is already great. It is time we remember what made it so.
I’d love your support in the primary on August 11 and then the general election on November 3. Please fill in the “Get it Together Vermont!” link and let me know how I can represent you in Montpelier.

About Mark
Mark is an nineteen-year resident of Perkinsville, having raised a family in our public schools and community arts organizations. Employed as a custom, fine furniture craftsman, salesman, and designer, Mark has decided to add Montpelier and local politics to the list of designs he feels need tweaking.
Five consecutive terms on the Weathersfield School Board and recent political dysfunction at the state level reveal the need for increased involvement from all those who wish to see our communities thrive. A lifetime of crafting custom furnishings, housing, arena installations, and scenery for television, theatre, film, opera, and local school drama productions has given him vast experience working with large groups of varied needs, skill sets, visions, and egos.
In an ever-changing world, Mark would love the opportunity to consider our collective strengths, expertise, and expectations to build our best version of ourselves here in Baltimore, Cavendish, and Weathersfield.
